And these are up front prices on specific cosmetics, not lower prices for random chance loot boxes. I absolutely agree the pricing is insane but I’d much rather a game show me an unreasonable price I can ignore than tempt me with a cheaper ‘roll the dice and see’ method.

I disagree with a lot of what’s said of the quality of this game but I greatly appreciate how well your argument is made here.

Im getting really tired of mediocre games being sold as a way to convince a publisher/dev to make the game we really want.

These were both emotes I had assigned in game almost entirely because of how obnoxious they were (and honestly how absurd watching someone dressed like a literal royal douchbag flossing ontop of a waterfall was).

I purchased a copy of Hades shortly after the launch of their game store and it did not show up in my account until about 16 hours later despite the charge going thru immediately. I was confused and pretty angry given that this is a problem I’ve never run into on a digital storefront before so after entirely too much…

This proves two things rather simply and clearly

Supporting the ‘e-sports’ side of their games sure, but Tekken has mainstream appeal and gets lots of support as a game (and makes Namco a good amount of cash). Much like NRS they will continue to make money off of their large audience and don’t really need to prop up a competitive scene on their own to keep intrest…

I love the idea that you can get away with anything as long as you stop once you’ve been called out for it.

I am absolutely with you here. I’ve never been a big fan of the idea that if you have a smaller audience you’d make more by bleeding them dry in every way you can. I would almost certainly love these games if I got them but I’d ultimately regret the decision at the asking price.

I feel like you might not have read what I was saying as you seem to have completely missed what I was saying.

If you find it somewhat off-putting now (because it obviously doesn’t look bad, it just doesn’t look quite right) just think about how terribly this will age in a few years.

Two quick thoughts

Having an opinion but not forcing that opinion on others when you feel it’s not reasonable/acceptable to do so is almost the definition of maturity.

I’m absolutely with you in the whole ‘Oh yay, mobile game’ thing but the absolute last thing I think of when I think of Diablo 3 is ‘precision and care’. D3 isn’t a bad game but it’s a game you can play while you’re doing just about anything else and still do pretty well in. There is a point super far into the endgame…

I have 2 PCs, a PS4, and and Xbox One. I normally hit my 1TB limit within 10 days /if/ I’m trying really hard not to and if I’m acting like I don’t have a limit (which I didn’t a few months ago) I can easily go thru 6-10TB of data a month just thru casual use and keeping my games updated.
