A Bloomberg article reported in Yahoo!Finance says that commodity price increases have increased the cost of making a Mach-E such that they now cost $25,000 more to make than a Ford Edge ICE SUV. That’s a big difference, but it’s not the same as an increase 0f $25,000 to build a Mach-E.

Gone up to $25k” is not the same thing as “increased by $25k Per car".

I only found 1 other website talking about the $25k, and even there it has been redacted, stating as below:

Ford’s cost to build the Mach-E increased by $25,000 or increased to $25,000? It has to be the latter.

Frankly, racing single-player against other people’s drivatar’s isn’t fun.

so I am going to be brutally honest here...Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo are not games designed to be fun. they are designed to be Racing Sims that emulate real world racing as closely as humanly possible. If you want fun racing Forza Horizon is going to be the best bet. Just to be clear I also prefer Forza

Actually, most of these stations/shops are mom and pop. They are individually owned franchises. Not that different from a McDonalds or Subway.

Might be? Of course it’s too little too late. Game has had virtually no content since release and all they’ve added are weekly challenges for skins. No new weapons, maps, vehicles, nothing. Game is basically dead at this point which is why more people are playing literally any other BF game at this point.

This is a simple fix. Have one or two examples of a vehicle for test drives and viewing. And have a place where boomers can sit down with someone and order the vehicle the want.

To be fair, you as a Jalopnik commenter might not be the typical car buyer.

Well, having been around for a decade, it probably has all of the bugs worked out, so there’s that.

So... these were mostly loaners that the dealers are now selling off, right?

Misfortunes of the buyers? The hell you talking about? The 6 is still a nice looking car, similar but nicer looking in my opinion than either the new Sonata or the Accord you propose as alternatives. Other than the relatively small center screen, the 6 has a nice, refined looking interior too. And I say all this

Interesting, I killed my Mazda6 back in March. It had been a great car, very reliable, just came to the end of being worth repairing.

Even was fun to RallyCross.

Drivers: “I don’t want to die getting a blowout at 200+ MPH.”

Smart move. This race is not the race even professional racers want to fuck around with faulty equipment in.

Now playing

This reminds me of a mine in England that uses similar idea but with a cable car setup. It’s also been running for nearly a century.

If the regenerative braking creates more electricity than is needed to go back to its origin, there isn’t a need for wires, or for a charger. If there needs to be an entire train car full of batteries, so be it. It’s free energy because of the way it is transporting heavy material downhill and not transporting

Protip: when your Tesla is at the top of a hill fill the trunks with the heaviest rocks you can find and unload them at the bottom for a free charge.

God, can’t wait for the perpetual motion videos about this on youtube...
