He can start with the large pharmaceutical companies who continue to push pain killers that are killing citizens instead of pain. They are also some of the largest contributors to keeping cannabis, a harmless product that could potentially help millions, off the ballot.

There is just too much cynisim around movies these days. I try to just enjoy the ride so to speak. I’m sorry your friend was shitty, never feel like you have to apologize or feel defensive about the things you enjoy.

I recently read a great piece by John le Carre (the spy novelist) where he talked about the process of seeing your novel get made into a film. I think what I most admired about his approach was his understanding that movies and books have to be different things out of sheer necessity. Books can unfold at a leisurely

I generally keep my expectations low for movies but i really did enjoy it. The special effects worked for me. I think if you can sink into it you’ll enjoy it more, a glass of wine didn’t hurt with that part!

I just got out of a Wrinkle in Time and it was amazing. I loved it, but i wish it was longer

My offer just got approved on a house today! I’ve been waiting for their response for days, and when the agent called and said they signed it, I was like ‘shit just got real.’

My husband is active duty, will be eligible for retirement in a year. He enjoys it (although he’s been an officer the entire time and hasn’t really worked with enlisted soldiers for years, I do remember those horror stories when he was in command of a combat unit). Whenever he goes to leadership training he comes home

It took so much more effort to be a scumbag when all you had was a Polaroid.

The military has traditionally been where we address many of our social problems before they’re addressed in the general population. For example, Truman integrated the military in 1948. That didn’t solve racism, but it did result in a lot of PoC being treated better in the military than they were in civilian life. For

You can’t address the cultural problems in the military when an entire country indiscriminately hero-worships them just for signing up.

Leach has always been inconsistent. He kicked a kid off his Texas Tech team just because his dad had killed a bunch of hookers. Not cool.

No one appears to doubt Crew’s accusations. But he is being punished for coming forward.

He is such a Nice Guy on rewatch. Basically terrible from start to finish. I’m not saying he deserved to get hit by a bus, but...

At first I was annoyed with the tonal disparity between Dahrk committing a brutal murder and the overall lightheartedness, but thinking about it I like the way that the show was reminding us that Dahrk is not a good person and we shouldn’t be rooting for him. Especially as he was talking to the corpse and let us see

I always use the Tollhouse chocolate chip cookie recipe from the bag. It’s a classic for a reason!

And worse, since gene pooling is down due to ever-larger groups not intermixing, it will never be either.

Can I be honest? If I was rich enough, I would pay someone else to change my baby’s diapers.

You can change diapers with long nails if you want to though. People just like the idea of shitting on someone for possibly having a nanny who changes all the diapers.

Same here. My younger siblings were born in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and there’s no way we’re part of the same generation. And this isn’t a superiority thing, they’re way better than me.

I still maintain that anyone who can clearly remember a time with no Internet is not a millennial.
