Is the song specially made or was it pre-existing? That may give a hint.

Not an Anime fan, but does anyone know if Star Blazers 2202's animation is getting redone for Blu-Ray?

I don’t know—has he ever criticized Japanese media?

It’s pretty much the same reason a lot of RPG’s used to have a medival setting. It’s just technology has become such an important part of our lives.

It enables them to have a story set on this planet with mostly modern technology, yet have it as an unexplored world that’s not fully tamed and under the rule of law. No

It’d be more of a shock if a character played by Sean Bean lived.

Level 2 of Bart Vs the Space Mutants on the Amiga 600.

Oh god, is it another case of projection?

Yeah, the problem is it’s not really a Bioware game, so the label is effectively wasted. When I think Bioware I think great fantasy/sci-fi story, interesting and fun characters you’ll become invested in, lots of indepth worldbuilding, okay production standards, excellent isometric/pseudo-isometric gameplay and iffy

I think it’s partly a holdover from 70/80's anime (specifically sci-fi) when American pop-culture was incredibly influential (especially movies, but also certain publications, which is where a lot of the blond characters originally came from).

Yeah, that sounds pretty believable. As you say, there’s probably a “fixed” version lying about somewhere.

If I were to guess at a reason that didn’t involve deliberate white washing, I’d say the person/people who did the colour weren’t aware she was black and just did a lazy job. I mean come on, she has a lighter skin tone than their take on Kei Nishikori. There are Asian Japanese female characters with a much darker skin

The radiation was what immediately popped into my head. There are just so many problems that need to be solved before even thinking about sending people to Mars.

Trying to stick to “cool” trends (z, alpha, x, flash, re) while standing out AND get across a basic concept. Plus there might be a creator injoke in there somewhere.

What amazes me is how many of these maps included toilets.

I’ve no idea about the legalities involved but perhaps they’re deciding to repackage it on a streaming service..

but it’s still baffling that they thought they could get away with allegedly straight-up inventing an interview with one of Earth’s most famous (and vocal) people.

I was honestly very surprised to not see Kotaku or Jez all over this.

I’ve never even read/watched One Piece and I want to closely look at every shelf. Looks like there’s quite a bit of Star Wars merch there.

Well... Atleast it isn’t a pachinko game.

It’s interesting how much JRPG’s and WRPG’s have in common the further back you go.
