Lots of videogame concept art gets posted there.
Nobody wants to download another games launcher on their computers.
Yet they remain bitter about losing all of the prestige/empire they had before 1950 and very much want to recapture that “glory” which is a contributing factor to Brexit.
Because none of them are the same, even the ones influenced by previous characters, even if it’s just a difference in personality.
It’s not just aesthetics, it’s pacing and the time it takes to set the scene. Even something as action packed as Die Hard spends a lot of time setting everything up before the action starts.
Seems to be a combination of unrealistic expectations and the gaming community being full of a-holes.
Admit it, Jason Schreier put you up to this. :)
That they don’t recognise the hypocrisy is hilarious. Much of their own reasoning can be applied right back at them. Speaking with buzzwords, using the same droll talking points and unable to grasp basic logic.
TGS doesn’t have that special quality it used to. Or am I missing it?
Also should have atleast one Gamearts RPG. Doesn’t matter which one, they were all great.
It needs atleast five titles with bad camera controls/angles.
Alundra was a Zelda-clone (in so far as it had similar mechanics), but it was a DAMN good Zelda clone. Could be really creepy at times as well.
I watched it and pretty much loved it. I liked the designs, the artwork, the acting, the story (sure, it has tropes in it, but by this point there’s so much fiction out there that EVERYTHING has appeared multiple times before in some form), the characters and the dialogue.
The double XP one is something I remember scratching my head about.
She’s been a model and an actress, exactly the sort of professions a 1960's era female character would have.
Any word on the BBC’s War of the Worlds series (the one set in Victorian times)?
It was just dire. Not as bad as BBC’s Robin Hood, but still really poor. Even when you ignore it’s (mis)take on the legends, the writing was just atrocious.
I love the aesthetic. When I read the title I was worried it was either going to be another 2D game using poor-3D models or a retro-pixalated game. So far I love the art.
For some reason that trailer reminds me of that Feel the Magic Nintendo DS game.
