After the insanely ambitious last episode, it was inevitable that this would be a quieter installment. And it worked - we probably needed something like this - and we finally got to see how Tahani died.

Now I want a live action Batman: The Brave and the Bold series where Affleck has to keep a straight face as he pairs up with a different DC hero each episode, regardless of how obscure or ridiculous.

That secret service agent must have been so proud to see his son go on to the prestigious life of a butler.

Add a guest celebrity and one non-celebrity for every episode and I think that could actually work.

Amy Pohler and Tina Fey Play Cards Against Humanity would probably be a decent Netflix comedy special.

The House is a typical SNL casted funny film. It’s not amazing, or groundbreaking, but an easy watch because of the actors. Falls in line with:

It’s the Gentleman’s A.

That’s how we like it.

The first one has amazing production design that influenced an entire sub-genre of sci-fi across western and Japanese film, novels, comics, and animation which I will always appreciate. It has a few interesting characters with good performances, and a few great scenes.

Other film review sites are throwing around words like “masterpiece”, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Dowd scrounges up a B+.
