My school district doesn’t seem to have a grandfather clause, but I’ve not studied it thoroughly, all I know is the vaccination compliance rate has improved dramatically in the last 5 years county-wide but especially in my daughter’s small district.

This was a few years back. And yes, the law is very clear now, no more of this personal belief BS. Booster shots are becoming very important for all of us because of the loss of herd immunity.

That’s what the doctor said, of course I got a booster when I was better, as did my daughter.

Marin, but things are very good now because of the new law, this was about 4 years ago.

Thankfully the new vaccine law has helped tremendously, the school was powerless before because of “personal belief” exemption but now the district will not allow kids w/o medical exemptions and those are very hard to obtain w/o absolute need.

Thankfully we didn’t get it that badly or at least by the time we went to the doctor it had improved, I thought it was allergies that we couldn’t shake because we’d both been vaccinated and she had been double vaccinated because she’s adopted from China and we couldn’t fully trust her vaccinations from there.
