There’s a brief exchange in Thor 2 between Jane Foster and one of the Asgardian healers, where she’s drawing comparisons between their “magical” aparatus and diagnostic tools, and providing a known scientific analogue.

“At least we know the show is really going to happen now”

That Fancy Shoggoth is pretty awesome. I love that they painted it over the layered text. <3

“Zazie Beetz” sounds like the name of the cool DJ at your cousin’s wedding that did a really good job and refused to play Uptown Funk even once.

Clicked here to see Sexy Sax Man, was not disappointed.

I think that’s fair and reasonable. The pig turned a lot of people off (re: everyone else in my family), and honestly, if that’s enough to make you squeamish then the series is not for you.

Really loving the series, really hating that it’s once every 3 months! Watched it twice, once to read the subtitles, and the second time to really enjoy the animation.

That movie was so good! And so underrated!

I agree... But it can’t be as hard or as expensive as to digitally remove it, surely?

Whoa, me likey. This is a really engaging style.

Ultimately you don’t want to create an unhealthy situation, but it’s up to the parents to decide what that is. You can love and support your kid without allowing them to dictate your social interactions.

Hi, welcome to genre television and film - where fans dissect every last goddamn detail and pointless piece of minutiae for no real reason.

Falling into t’Arrow-tory?

It’s more like “We have an older show that people love that no longer fits our existing ad:content model. We can either edit the show to fit the model, or not use it at all. Speeding it up by a small fraction is preferable to removing entire scenes to make it fit.”

In my case it’s a combination of several things:

Absolutely it does. I love all things LEGO, but am usually the most fascinated by the microbuilds which use as few pieces as possible.

This has been happening in the MCU for a while, with mixed results. Most notably with the Iron Man franchise. The stuff in IM 1 still felt very natural.

They can get some notoriety and free press this way. Maybe even a little sympathy for being “crushed” by the big faceless corporation.

Needs more zazz!

Hey, my bad! I didn’t mean to sound curt, I was actually agreeing with you?
