The problem for me is that of the handful of games that are being released, only 2 interest me. So spreading them out doesn’t really help. It’s still a huge drought because I’m not picking up 7-10 games in the first year.

I had the exact opposite reaction. As a father of two, seeing a small child in realistic peril dials up my anxiety VERY quickly.
