The Christ 2: Judgment Day

Its time for Chidi to show a little character development. All the other characters have had their moments recently and Chidi gets sent to hell because he couldnt choose a hat? (Btw, the answer was clearly “no hat”, since they were both fedoras.)

Agreed. Way to bury the lede here

I disagree with the comparison. Blade Runner is a whole world you can drop characters into. Indiana Jones movies are about Indiana Jones - without him it would be another period action movie.

Or, since Ford is too old to be Indy, they can stop making the movies.

I was surprised to read Handlen’s claim that there was “nothing remotely sexual” between Burnham and Lorca. I thought that his interest in her was hinted at often and consistently, and I certainly wasnt looking for it.

I would agree with you were it not for “ I Tonya” being up there.

A untrained animal on a plane is a safety risk. Its not a “fair and reasonable accomodation” on a plane, its a special request.

This interaction made me laugh so hard. I like Boseman, but Im always reminded of Norm Macdonalds line about him: “Chadwick Boseman... like weve never seen him before.”

She has The Color Purple and Selma.

This movie has the most remarkable cast in a kids movie that Ive ever seen. Its just perfect casting all around.

Sexual battery is often used for a crime where someone was touched without their consent for a sexual purpose, while sexual assault is often used for a crime where a sex act was committed.

To be fair to avclub, they think we would find this sort of thing funny. And they clearly were goading some of you into getting really mad about the movie to amuse themselves.

The afterlife must be linear?

I agree. I may be suffering from a failure of imagination (sorry, Kierkegaard), but I dont see any way out of this unless they get to live again.

Im old enough to remember when he got shit for agreeing to do a sitcom. And then for playing a gay character for his first movie. And then for making more movies. And then for going back to music.

I was actually having a conversation about this the other day. We brought up the examples of Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West and, though less of an iconic, Albert Brooks in Drive. I think Hanks would be a great villain.

Closer in age? Hes 46 and Guinness was 63 in IV. And he looks it too. I loved him as Obi-Wan but he was way too young for Revenge of the Sith.

Good idea: Bring back Animaniacs
