If you skip all the descriptions of gardens and weather, L.M. Montgomery’s novels are half as long. Here’s a for-no-reason description of November from one of my favourites, “The Blue Castle”:
The book is sub-titled, “The Whale”. I feel like everyone is suitably warned there’ll be stuff about whales in it. (Full disclosure, though: Moby-Dick is my favourite novel.)

It can get confusing if the person doesnt remember to use a proper name when its more appropriate. But this also happens when someone uses she/she or he/he in a sentence and forgets to specify, for example: “My mom and grandma got into a fight and she slapped her." Who did the slapping? I think it really is something…
I have never seen “Billy Jack”, but I have watched “Brainy Jack” a lot.

All i could picture after reading this plot was Dr Crusher in "Night Terrors" saying, "We will all go insane."
This reminds me of a criticism I once read about Moby-Dick: “Theres too much stuff about whales in it.”
