This album doesn’t lend itself to single selections since the music flows continuously from one theme to the next. But this track has the word “best” in the title, so here it is. :o) It’s a moment of relative calm in an otherwise wonderfully frantic prog-rock masterpiece. From the Patrick Moraz album sometimes

Cool! I saw Ace open for Clapton once, a long time ago... (sigh)

DAMN it.

I was picturing Spicer, dancing with Melissa-as-Spicer, to Billy Idol’s “Dancing With Myself.” Because lately I’ve been thinking I might feel a little better about all this stuff if I could just sit down and have a good cry for a few minutes. And I thought, yeah, that would probably do it.

(Hey, someone had to do it.)

I love that word, “motodoping.” Makes me want to listen to Kraftwerk for some reason.

Yikes! What a night!

Dunno how influential it was, but this is one of my favorite ‘90s songs. I can’t help it, it just is. Her goofy little harmonica solo just melts my icy cold heart, every time. Makes me feel like a kid again.

I just saw it for the first time with the S3 premiere. I dunno, maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood or something. I usually enjoy this kind of stuff more. Guess I’ll try a couple more eps.

Another humid summertime favorite around here is Liz Phair:

I’ll admit I do like the looks of the thing. For some reason, there are only 2 or 3 Panels in this whole metro area, so I get a lot of comments & compliments. Some even ask what it is! Makes me chuckle - it’s just a crappy little HHR, folks. :o)

Hey, I love my ‘09 HHR LT Panel. And no, I’m not trolling. Much.

“And Jesus Christ, ducks have been ruined for me forever. How the hell did that get voted into the fucking government?”

When you’re right, you’re right. :o)

You’re welcome! I’ve enjoyed this album for a long time. (Incidentally, this version of “Heartbeat” also featured a guest star guitar solo - by Peter Frampton, hee!)

Not disagreeing with your substitution, but please, everyone, just skip that Don Johnson crap. Here’s the original version of “Heartbeat,” which was written & recorded by Wendy Waldman, and is perfectly good early-‘80s pop music. (The rest of the album has its moments too.)

Southeast Burma represent!

My ‘why’ question is: Why are we still harumphing at each new shocking revelation of IOT/social media/whatever data collection? Was there ever a point where any of this was about anything but “user as product?” Have we reached a point where we’re just collectively incapable of saying “nope” to all this fake-ass

Jesus Christ, that is excruciating.
