Looking forward to womens GS and Slalom events more than anything else in the upcoming weeks. Shiffrin is a delight to watch - and I’m sure she has a chance in Downhill and Super G, but the way she skis the more technical disciplines is extraordinary.

Not true. T&R, which airs on the competing sports radio network is an absolute delight. It helps that neither guys actually roots for or is from New England / Boston, but their show is the antidote to the fuckboy douchefest that is WEEI.

Aside from one friend, who I’ll never be as close with now since he revealed he still listen to D&C, I don’t know anyone under 50 who listens to WEEI. I get that some people just NEED sports radio in the morning, and for so long WEEI was the only game in town. Personally I’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard…

His videos were an après staple at our ski house growing up, and still are to this day as I’ve introduced my daughters to them. I hope they continue to put out a new film each year but his touches I’m sure will be missed.

Completely agree - except to add they’ve made significant improvements to their snow-making tech over the last few years so not quite as snow dependent as they used to be. The mountain faces north though so it can be colllld as fuck depending on the wind.

I generally agree, but if you haven’t already do yourself a favor and try out a proper pils, in a proper pass, with a proper pour. I think it makes a significant difference.

Sierra Nevadas ‘Nooner’ pilsner is suprisingly good and hits closer to the mark of a true pils than most craft versions I’ve tried.
