There is this thing called a FICO score, and it’s super important. You can’t win disputes with scumbag cable companies and verizon by just not paying your bill. Pay the bill, then dispute it. I went to a small liberal arts college where 95% of of the students live on campus in dorms for all four years. It was

The show plays it fast and loose with the geography and travel time but there is zero reason to believe Euron’s fleet would just be hanging around KL, and not at a minimum at least at the head of Blackwater Bay, which would be in position to catch Yara’s ships either way.

Yeah, I don’t drink coffee, and although I like Tea I don’t like hot beverages in the morning or the time it takes to make them. My morning routine is I wake up whenever my 3 year old makes enough noise over the monitor, I grab a 7.5oz mini-can of DC, and I sit in the chair in her room and drink the sweet, crisp,

Will absolutely buy this book if Chip shares his thoughts on the unrequited love the guy who makes tables out of shitty old bard doors has for Joanna

I don’t eat seafood, and only I cook it for my wife who really likes fish to be simply flavored and cooked. So, for that reason I don’t have a ton of great recipes per se. I usually will do olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon zest and then one other thing (ginger, miso, rosemary, thyme, etc) in the bag with the fish. I

This! My 3 year old was diagnosed with Celiac’s on Monday, and I just this morning had the realization that being Gluten Free for non-celiac’s reasons has to be a significant driving force for the number of options my kid will have going forward.

Wow perfect timing. My daughter was just diagnosed with Celiac’s on Monday. And as someone who has spent the last few years rolling my eyes / dismissive- wanking-gesture at people who are fad dieting gluten free, or attributing gluten to pretty much everything ailment under the sun, I was preparing myself to not get

I’m not much of a cryer, but the Dumbest - For Love of the Game, not a great sports movie (although I would love to see a cut with just the baseball scenes. But I definitely got a little misty at the end there for really no good reason.

Me too, since I couldn’t find the Denver cut the post mentions I ended up buying top sirloin and cooking it sous-vide style.... it was fantastic.

This is great - I’ve been in a total rut lately rotating through the same cuts of the same proteins. Will definitely keep my out of the Denver cut.

w/ two kids under 3 I can’t imagine having any kind of favorite but that can obviously change. Both my wife and I are the kids in our respective families that cause the least amount of drama, and over the years were the ones that needed our parents the least. The result, I think is a loss of closeness with our

Nothing pleases me more than reminding my sister that all family passwords involve some iteration of my birthday. That said, she is without a doubt the favorite...

This has been super effective in addressing my 3 y/o’s fussy eating habbits - it doesnt’ even have to always make sense as long as it’s fun. Diced avacado is a tough sell for a toddler, but “’CADO MOONS FROM SPACE!” is exciting. I don’t prep them any differently, but at a point of exasperation one night I noticed

“...and you’ll most likely end up trying to soothe an angry smoke alarm if you attempt such with olive oil.”

This is tremendous dad advice. First thing I do when we get to the beach is dig a hole and put my kid in it. It’s like a toddler prison, or ‘playpen’ if we’re being less dramatic about it. Keeps her occupied and away from the baby while we set up our stuff. And maintaining the hole provides more entertainment

No we really don’t, maybe every other week at most? Our kitchen in general doesn’t get that dusty and the only things we keep on the shelves are in pretty heavy rotation.

It sounds like you have a reno-plan to address the issue, but our solution to small cupboards was open-shelving and it’s worked out great. We were worried about it looking messy or cluttered, but since our stuff generally matches, and we keep food in the pantry, it’s actually really opened up our kitchen and given us

Yes this. Microwave, Toaster and Wok have all gone away and we don’t miss any of them. The Microwave we never really used anyway, the oven can toast things in a pinch, and a good non-stick pan seems to do everything I needed the wok to do.

I’ve told my wife the three things that will get me to leave the city are a charcoal grill, a fireplace, and a nice big kitchen. I look at our Kitchen and it SEEMS like we have plenty of counterspace, but kids end up taking up a good piece of it and b/c of the layout (and my cooking style) it seems to disappear so
