I’m already liking Slightly Goofier Faye, I’m glad they’re doing their own thing. So much of what made the anime what it was feels like it’d be nearly impossible to translate to live action anyway. There’s a kind of stillness and atmosphere that isn’t really possible with real people.

As a returning Destiny player, you’re totally right that they should have just launched Destiny 3.

It’s so much more laid back than other MMO’s though. I came back to the game after 8 years and I’m just cruising through the story at my own pace. I never feel like I’m missing out on anything by not playing. It really feels like a massive single player FF game where you occasionally party up for dungeons.

I will forever tell people to watch the NoClip doc about FF14 just to see what this man did and how he operates. That team genuinely gives a shit which is so anti corporate, not to mention his whole attitude and openness being almost unheard of in Japan period.
