Its important to note that for the longest time (up until 2 or 3 years ago) the Melee community was a players community. Few people would go to a torunament and just watch, most would also compete. So all of this hassle to wich some other FGC members are used to, is relatively new to Melee.

If they stick to kills playing ANY significant part in the cooldown timer for Titanfalls.... huge mistake on their part, that alone will turn off a LOT of players to the game.

I personally hate these kill reward based systems. It’s basically the developer saying “Hey, you are better then the other players. Let’s make it even easier for you.”
