While I have gripes with 3 (cough mmo wannabe cough) I didn’t mind the sheer scale. It was fun just exploring and side questing. The writing took was uneven. Some very good things and some meh. Like I loved Morrigan and Veric in 3.

So, I loved DA2 at launch and more so now. I’ll admit it’s short fallings and defend it’s triumphs. The thing now that I really like about it now is that it’s shorter and super focused character study of a game. Which is something most gamers don’t really care for.

People are mad because D2 should have been Destiny Year 4 more or less. If they weren’t going to radically change the game (they didn’t) then they should have been working with the test builds of Destiny 1 and built new content. This is how MMO expansions work. D2 is WoW’s Cataclysm.
