I think the argument Pitchford is making is that for a myrad of reasons half of the day-1 consumers will opt out. I’ve played many a demo and said “This isn’t worth $60.”
Randy Pitchford of Gearbox had said that releasing a demo would cut their sales in half. While that saves the half of the consumers grief, it doesn’t give the developer much incentive no?
After reading all the comments here and several other Destiny articles it seems like Destiney needs to be reformated with a more linear mission progression. In Borderlands the old content doesn’t become pointless in the same way a raid does in an MMO. Destiny 2 should be a super shiny Borderlands. #sorrynotsorry
I’m confused, while this game had MMO type elements at what point did it go full MMO to where a consistent flow of content? Based on what I played in the beta (loved the Dinklige voice.) It seem to be a shiny sci-fi borderlands style loot and shoot. I was waiting to buy the game because PC4LYFE!
Maybe because the Mega Drive didn’t have a six button pad at launch but when I emulate anything that was on both machines, I’m damn sure I’m picking the Mega Drive copy over the SNES copy. Unless it has a superior arcade version. Then Winkawaks it is!
