Well, I know I feel safer here in this shining city on the hill, this beacon of freedom, this safe harbor for the wretched and yearning, this symbol that if you work hard you can achieve anything!

I don’t like to whine, but the fact that she killed her kid and “sleeps pretty good at night” while I toss and turn, worried about my aging dog’s limp, REALLY pisses me off.

Sorry, just wanted to say that I loved this show when I was a kid and used to sing the theme song all the time; when TV shows started being released on DVD, one of my friends bought me the first season of this and it was like the best gift ever.
