I believe its because all big corporations use windows exclusively. If you have a choice and don't need to have a computer with your company's software you get a mac :)

It's kind of silly but this reminded me of Mad Men, and how Don chooses to become a new person simply by behaving like one (well, there were also some other incidents that allow it to happen). There's something to that—fake it til you make it, basically.
