Agreed, but Ford did it with the Mustang EV and it sold damn well.  I disagree with them calling it a Mustang, for obvious reasons, but you know sales.

I just don’t think a noise coming out of a speaker will elicit the same response as an actual mechanical machine exploding gasoline and moving pistons.  I think having a speaker simulating exhaust would cheapen the whole experience. 

My current vehicle doesn’t have physical buttons/dials for fan speed, and it’s horrible.  Takes like 8 seconds to turn the blower from minimum to max.  Can’t wait to get something different because it’s SUCH a pain in the ass.

As silly as this might sound, no physical buttons for climate control is a major no for me.

It would look like a bunch of angry, overwrought plastic with not even a tenth the cool factor of this thing. I disagree. The rendering looks like a mustang rear end hastily photoshopped onto a c8 with the windscreen pushed back. The C7 looks much better than that render.  That said, I adore the C8 body.
