No capes!

In my wife’s case, she wanted capacity to be able to help out with getting friends’ kids to school as well as our own. I said no, and we ended up with a 4 door Wrangler instead of a mini van. And by said no, I mean pleaded with her.

Mmmm, Pinto...

I think I’ve seen video of you doing this.

Back in the day, I drove a two tone blue 76' LTD Brougham, with a 460 4bbl, disc brakes and a 32 gallon gas tank. One spring snow morning commute, on tires I mistakenly hoped would make it till fall, I put a wheel on the shoulder, which was covered with a couple inches of the heaviest wet gook I’d seen as a young

This. Plus, you can go on great adventures in it, and maybe not get as stuck when you get lost. That kid needs all the adventures it can have these days.

And they want to send water from this river to the dry western US.  Good luck with that.

My teenage son and some of his friends ended up at the McLaren dealership to look at the cars they have posters of on their walls. The salespeople treated them very well, taking them to see cars that weren’t ready to be on the floor yet, talking to them about all those great cars none of those boys may ever be able to

Gaia GPS has layers you can turn on and off to make sure you’re legally on terrain you’d like to go.  It has many layers, showing if you’re in national forest, national park, BLM land, or private lands.  Great resource, and not the only one out there.

If the new Bronco comes out with a few engine choices that are particularly tasty, they’ll have a chance. Just think what they could put in there that is currently in a Ford trucklike vehicle.  Maybe a small 5.0 litre V8?  Wishful thinking, I know.

Does it really have a turbo, or is it a realllly fast battery powered car, I have such a hard time telling with Porsche these days?

I am so bummed to hear there will be no story of David Tracy’s struggle to make it to Moab by Easter.

The existence of the brown oak tree looking leaves under the hood make me cringe a bit, but, not my car, I suppose.

I was hoping something like this was out there, thanks!

Great call, tho...would love one, but my wife won’t let me sell any more of my internal organs.

I wonder what vehicle sold in the US has the highest percentage of units sold with manuals?  My guess would be Wranglers...

I got a new job with a longer commute this last summer, needed a reliable ride.  New cars were out of my budget, so I bought a 2015 Infiniti for around 16k with all the pennies I’ve been saving up.  New car prices are what’s stopping me from buying new.
