Deadspin: VAR is awful

how the hell is anyone supposed to know that without an explanation?

“The rules are too hard to understand, so there should just be no rules.”

It’s “VAR made the right call, so despite any other legitimate criticism of the system, this article is like 1000 words longer than it needs to be.”

VAR: The cause of and solution to all of life’s problems

Because the ball hit Silva on its way to Agüero (and it’s likely that it wouldn’t have found its way to the open space in front of the Argentine without the deflection), the VAR decision is objectively correct.

lemme get this straight: one of the problems with VAR is that correct decisions seems confusing to people who don’t know the rules and/or dont have access to the replay

Spoiler alert: he is not.

Blue Jackets fan here since the day they were announced, so man, this felt good.

Ugh, seeing guys ‘fence’ like that makes me agree with you every day and twice on Sunday.

Whenever the Jackets finally win their first-ever playoff series, their opponents are going to be really unhappy.

Thank you for returning to finish your work.

Heck, they should have been able to bring back a previously eliminated teammate even.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball my man

Bledsoe caught the ball, he should not have been removed from the game.

I almost replied to you “that was the best part of Mallrats” until I remembered that scene was in Chasing Amy, a much better movie (& that scene is in contention for being the best part of Chasing Amy). Stan Lee’s scene remains the best part of Mallrats.

GENTRIFICATION!

“That damn kid is BACK ON THE ESCALATOR!!!!!!”
