Right, like malnourishment or disease that can stunt your growth, that kind of thing. No, I don’t have a magic exercise to make you taller. :)

I don’t get why appointing an Italian American in the 80s was so fucking progressive...but then...I could really just be ignorant and not understand the plight of the Italian American in the 80s...

This is the problem with these people. They never recognize that they aren’t self-made. Zero humility.

I got mine, so

Every time my husband says “this is why Trump is going to win” I cry and tell him to shut up it can’t be possible. Can it?

Goddammit I HATE it when EXPERTS and PEOPLE WHO KNOW STUFF AND THINGS try to tell me that having a racist, bigoted, misogynistic melted creamsicle running the country like it’s a E! reality show is PROBABLY NOT A GOOD IDEA!!1! I want someone as dumb and narrow minded as I am armed with nuclear codes to run this

I’ve never understood people who want their elected leaders to be as dumb as they are.

My yoga new-agey friends absolutely loved Pure Food & Wine (closed during the past year because the owner was nuts and stopped paying her staff) and we went for a couple of birthdays, etc. It was OK but it hurt me so much to pay $30 for ‘lasagna’ consisting of lettuce leaves stuffed with cashew ‘cream’ when I could

I took my ex to one, years ago. We got “pizza.” This pathetic dehydrated “cracker” came, topped with kale and a few slices of pineapple. For about $9 each.

You are probably not the kind of person she is talking about. I eat similarly to you now after going through the ringer of health issues. Even with my weird restrictions I still had a cookie once in a while. I had to soak it in milk to get it down for a while, but whatever. Point being that moderation isn't precise.

Judgmental moment here: I don’t get raw veganism. I don’t get it at all. It’s great to incorporate some of the raw vegan foods in your diet once in a while, but like making it your lifestyle? Don’t get it.

You get sympathy. I feel bad for your folks, but I feel sympathy for you, too. Meals with your relatives must be a mine field.

There’s a marked difference between admitting you are trying to integrate more healthy, whole foods into your diet and turning every single Pinterest pin, Facebook post, and chat sesh into an evangelical declaration of your “diet.” The clean-eater, paleo, wheat belly diet folks always seem to be the latter, where it’s

At it’s extreme, this type of obsession with “clean eating” is called orthorexia. It’s a recognised disorder. When people get so involved in a certain type of restrictive diet, such as paleo, it can be really harmful. But often it’s not picked up, and people who are obsessive are celebrated as super-healthy role

She’s not wrong. A multi-day cayenne pepper and lemon juice only ‘cleanse’ is to a person with disordered eating what a weekend long bender in Vegas would be for an alcoholic. It’s not healthy and the media should stop glorifying that type of thing.

maybe they didn’t believe in birth control? who knows. you’re looking for logic where you will find none.

Weird. I feel like she was referenced recently before this tragedy.

or how about

As a collective group, we would be the worst drug smugglers. The three stooges have better odds.
