Just a friendly reminder that we had 33 hearings into Benghazi and millions of dollars spent over several years which turned up nothing. Now they’re circling the wagons to protect foreign intervention into our election (which all intelligence agencies agree happened). Republican hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Votes against the Iraq War (and even more so the Patriot Act) are important to me not because history has proven them right, but because it was glaringly obvious even at the time that that those were terrible decisions and that most politicians just didn’t have the nerve to go against the herd in a post-9/11 world.…

One really sick part about this whole thing is that this is how A LOT of white people talk when no one else is around. The Trump era has made people think this is OK to not only say while at home, but on national television. People need to be publicly shamed for saying shit like this.

Maxine Waters is a national treasure and hero. Her vote against the Iraq War Resolution in 2002 will confer upon her a legacy of being one of the few politicians of the era of courage and conscience.

This morning on AM Joy, it was disclosed that Devin Nunes, (the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee) has his own ties to Russia. His vineyard’s distributor in Europe is a Russian oligarch/ friend- of- Vlad, and he didn’t disclose this. Conflict of interest much?

As a Canadian watching from afar, I still don’t understand why people are bringing religion into this. The US is where people say “separation of church and state”, right? That’s a thing you supposedly have? Am I taking crazy pills?

I’ve been watching C-Span, and every time a Republican congressperson stops speaking, the following Democrat tells them exactly how many people in that Republican’s district will lose healthcare if this bill passes. It’s brilliant.

I’m not a lawyer, but I’ve been trying to figure out if there is a way to sue them for their lying and deception.

A few pundits had speculated that the divisions within the Republican party would actually flare up if they managed to get a Republican into the White House, and that would be more damaging to them in the long run than if they lost the 2016 election.

What’s hilarious about all of this is that if you take him at his word (i.e. that Obamacare is a horrible system that is hurting people), then he’s essentially willing to saddle America with terrible healthcare out of SPITE.

I would argue that Russian involvement is less the problem than the people who were willing to vote for this fool despite what they could see in front of their faces.
