Isn’t this like, textbook emotional abuse? The instant your partner seems to have a credible complaint about your behavior that someone might sympathise with, pivot immediately to suddenly crashing self-esteem and threats to kill yourself?

“It’s legal” absolutely does not mean “it’s not creepy” and saying “it’s legal so it’s not creepy” is a super creepy mentality. “Post-pubescent” doesn’t mean “makes good judgement.

You know what really makes you look like not a creep? Arguing in detail about age of consent laws and how they mean it’s okay for adult men to sexualise school children.

“I got so sick of those chicken balls,” Dylan said to MEL Magazine about an especially unappetizing-sounding food item. “I’d estimate I got them around 150 times, and at five per meal, that’s around 750 balls. I don’t know that I could ever eat them again.”

The central conflict of the film is that everyone is loyal to Maximus over Commodus. A chiseled physical specimen who is just some otherworldly fighter doesn’t necessarily fit into that; I think Crowe really sells Maximus’ quiet charisma so that you buy the fact that everyone buys in to Maximus, from Marcus Aurelius

That’s what hurt about everyone pooping on Andromeda so much. For all the jank, and maybe because of it, it came closest to that wide eyed feeling that ME1 had. I really hope they come back to that well for the new ME.

The last two Final Destination films, in gloriously tacky 3D, are among the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had in a theatre

Yeah, the Elm Street remake almost could’ve worked if they committed to the idea that Kreuger was wrongly accused of being a pedophile and lynched, then to come back as a vengeful supernatural force but then they went another 180 and turned out he was a sadistic pedophile after all.

The first Saw at least had an interesting concept that was literally an all-or-nothing exercise in making second chances at making real change mean something. Everything after that was just a thinly veiled excuse to end it’s victims in some of the most ridiculous and grotesque ways possible without any point.

Yeah, I found most of the FD movies at least entertaining and that opening highway disaster scene from FD2 was nothing short of a masterpiece.

Final Destination at least has a sense of humor about itself. A really, really sick one, but one nonetheless.

To be fair, McMurray’s a piece of shit.

KnIIves Out

“SEDAGIVE?”

“beneath" lol. He's clearly enjoying himself and his contributions to the first flick are what made it fun. Wtf elitism are you on about?

The comedy and the silly Venom voice are the only things that made the first one watchable.   No one wants a serious hard R Venom story.  He’s a stupid 90s characters

Some days, you just can’t bait someone with a Batman ‘66 gif.

Rita and Runt hold up like fucking DIAMONDS.

Fuck no. Slappy was the best non-Warner Siblings shorts.

The Running Man has never gotten the love it deserves.
