@avclub-534b36b22aab256cdb15c38b66ea1a74:disqus He just hunkered down and braced for more work.

It's implausible?

That's just greedy of him. He gets two faces yet Giancarlo Esposito only gets half of one!

OH MY GOD I KNOW I'M THREE DAYS LATE BUT I GREW UP IN THE SAME TOWN AS FLAG ACRE SO NOW I GET TO TALK ABOUT IT!

When I first watched the Simpsons as a youngun, this was by far my favorite joke of the whole series.

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left

@avclub-9e72574baf3124f13a94a45c6d25d1c8:disqus For the record, I have never seen the Brony documentary. This is based on my own person experience in the Brony community, and yes, a lot of people were doing just that back on Ponychan and ponibooru back in the day.

@avclub-e53fc2424af041d07a7eef5cd8773505:disqus The difference, of course, is in the fact that there is a distinctive separation between individual bronies and the brony community as a whole. There are a lot of really nice, decent people from all walks of life who watch the show and consider themselves bronies, and

@avclub-241b2421faecd6ca0aaa67cb80e8a634:disqus I don't know, that's where it gets dicey. On one hand I agree that the show changing more and more to appeal to it's adult male fanbase is a bad thing, but is this anything that will be solved with "This is weird, grow the fuck up"? At the end of the day, as we can tell

^^^^ This. The great thing about the show's first two seasons is how it managed to tell cute and engaging stories for girls that weren't cloyingly cute and/or didn't revolve around boys. The irony, of course, is that the fact this is a good show for young girls to be watching is far outweighed by the whole "GROWN MEN

SEASON THREE WAS AWFUL WHAT A MESS

@avclub-42763705844bf5e2af4abd6c898f8dcb:disqus Yeah, though there is a big gay population in the MLP fandom (surprise surprise) a lot of them seem to think that queerness begins and ends with Dash/Twilight OTP.

I discreetly waited for it to come to Cartoon Network then watched the hell out of it, bouncing up and down in my seat.

@avclub-241b2421faecd6ca0aaa67cb80e8a634:disqus No, completely agreed that they need to stop that shit and be flat out told so. What I'm saying is that there's a difference between "It's weird that you're watching a kids show. Stop." and "It's weird you're considering your love for a TV show on par with actual

I mean, you know there are Adventure Time reviews right on this very site, a show for children with an obsessive fandom surrounding it. Not to mention Gravity Falls or Avatar: The Last Airbender. Adults liking kids stuff to the point of obsession is nothing new nor anything to get on your high horse about. (Ah? Ah?)

Yes

This makes me happy. This makes me shockingly happy.

Just one sniff of that fog and your in-side out!
It's worse then that flesh-eating virus you've read a-bout!

Hi Dave! I'm Grandpa!

Shh! You want to get sued?
