I have learned so, so much from other commenters here about so many things. It has made me a better listener and taught me the importance of choosing my words carefully, and accepting criticism when I am wrong (though I think I will suck at that for all time).

I’m more bothered by the response to the article than I am the article itself. Which is saying something, since outing is one of my lifelong pet peeves.

Hypocrisy at its finest. For writers to post a statement saying they objected to the removal of the original article because they believed that leaving it up would lead to lively, substantive debates...knowing that they had banned some of the best site commenters...it’s pretty gross.

This whole thing upsets me because I feel like we had such a good thing going on, commenter community-wise, and now it’s kind of ruined. Good people have been banned, other good people are leaving, and it genuinely makes me sad.

I decided today to stop visiting and commenting on Gawker sites. “The Post” on Gawker was astounding, and the reaction by writers and editors, as well as the blaring and glaring non-reaction by some, are making me want to take my clicks and give them away elsewhere on the internet. However, I will miss you beautiful

Can we talk about how many of us were banned for expressing our opinions re: the Gawker piece and *certain* authors’ stance on this issue? But I’m afraid our new accounts will just be banned again. Which sucks. We weren’t calling anyone bitches or sluts or ugly. Nor were we posting abusive images. We were just

The hoarding situation sounds like the problem is more than just her shifting views. I had a relative who hoarded like that, and we eventually all teamed up (decades before Hoarders on tv) and went over there to clean it all out. Sadly, it’s piling up again and I don’t know what to do, either. It’s really dangerous

Can I ask for some love and good thoughts in my general direction? I don’t want to really get into it here, for a lot of reasons, but I had a terrible, terrible week and tomorrow I’m going to have to do one of the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s for the best and I need to do it, but it’s heartbreaking and I just

Can’t help but notice that ALL the comments about that shit-Gawker post were flat out DELETED over on the Unwed Mothers story a bit further down the page. I’M SURE IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE UNRELATED, YUP, THAT’S THE REASON.

Calvin Harris is livin’ in a world of fools tearin’ us down when they all should let us be, tbh.

I used to play pretty seriously. The rules are simple. The main goal is to achieve “The Queen’s Errand,” or have the most netted balls by the end of the crow’s watch. If the pepper is placed in your path, you have to wheel the cranberry using only the poetic side of your bike. The lines on the court indicate the

I honestly don’t see marriages making it like our grandparents or parents’ marriages. It’s just not a possibility anymore. Values were different then, women were more dependent, men had the final word. Divorce is common because nothing is supposed to last forever and people have become stronger to walk away from bad

No offense Lee Daniels, I love your show but Empire is to our generation, what Dynasty is to our parent’s. Sure you might have more sensical story lines and less wedding massacres but still, you’re a nighttime soap opera. Deal.

Damn. I read that as Serena and got excited. I would have loved some tennis goddess themed make-up. No disrespect to Selena.

I appreciate Delevingne comments. I think there is a feeling among many people (gay & straight frankly) that bisexuality is either a ‘rest stop’ on the way to homosexuality or the ‘experimental’ phase of a straight person.

It’s like Faces of Meth but for dickheads... someone get these PSAs on the sides of buses stat!!!

Excuse you, Brooke also got a v v lucrative commercial contract with La-Z-Boy furniture.

Hear that sound? That’s Bob Fosse weeping.
