Cat videos are a great mental health recharger. I definitely watch more of them within the last few years. I spend a lot of time on the internet and when I feel myself getting edgy from bad news overload, cat videos here I come.

RFK Jr. recently attended an anti-vax event with Scientology and the Nation of Islam to protest California bill SB 277.

So, instead of only passing restrictive marriage and abortion laws, they will now focus on “religious liberty” laws (Christian values, of course). This is going to be very, very ugly.

Pope Francis is a Jesuit, so he definitely differs from the past popes. Jesuits are more into social justice, equality and open-minded thinking than the more traditional Catholic church. The order has been persecuted in the past by the Catholic church for their more liberal slant.

I will be watching and I want this to be good. However, I’m worried this might turn out like They Came Together, the movie with Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. That movie made fun of every rom com trope and I was so bored with the “look at how we make fun of all of this and aren’t we hilarious” energy.
