While it is true that these are technically older models, they’really the most well-maintained F-18's on the planet. When I attended NDT school in Pensacola, we were allowed to shoot unshielded xrays on one of them. I’ll tell ya, I’ve never seen a better aircraft or workspace.

Bullshit, Stephen. I saw this article the morning it posted a year or two ago. It was pulled about 3 days later. I’m not sure who is feeding you your info but THEY’RE wrong too.

I wouldn’t take one for free.

This is going to be so damn fun to follow!

Oh if only I could though.

Though I think the Concept 2000 looked just as good as a production car.

Bow down to the God of Concept Cars (to die in).

Congratulations. You’re exactly the type of person they were killing in “God Bless America".

Not that I’ve experienced from both dealerships and private party sellers. Only once did the guy seem pretty nervous because my reader also pulls pending codes that haven’t yet tripped a CEL. He wasn’t “car savvy” and was just worried I’d see something he didn’t know about.

My Son has learned in my ‘15 Civic SI. Hill-start assist, a forgiving clutch, and a great transmission made for a great learning environment. Now he’s able to drive my S2000 just fine.

I guess that would probably just depend on your upbringing, and your definition of common sense? Good point though. After all, I want this car just not at that price.

Nail, meet hammer. Couldn’t have said it better myself. CP all day, if you’re a common-sense common man.

So far, NP. I can’t find a deal like this stateside, but I’m also not done looking. Unmolested, unique color, manual, low mileage CTS-V wagon will be mine.

This is the greatest, most accurate description I have read.

This car is the embodiment of “it sounded better on paper”.

I was about to post a comment remarkably similar to yours. Thanks for saving me a few minutes!

I don’t know, I think it looks fine. I guess it just comes down to matter of opinion.

Man, how was this NOT the COTD?

This seriously needs to be titled “Everything You Need to Know to Maintain Military Rotary Wing Aircraft”.
