Sounds like something a coward published.

There’s a ton of contributing factors to this but none larger than Firm-Fixed Price contracts with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. When this happens, nobody in Contract administration pays attention to it.  It costs more to administer than the value of the contract.

Pleasantly put; it hit every major story beat as to why I opted out of ADV and instead settled on the BMW S1000XR.  Threw some Dunlop Mutants on it for dirt and gravel.  I gets through Richmond traffic just fine, and gets down every road I want to go down.  Right tool, right job.

We have similar experience and I heard both of these things many decades ago.  Just because YOU haven't had it explained to you means nothing.

“Alex, how do I delete someone else's internet trash take?"

I hate to say this but I personally know him.  You’re half right.  He’s a typical white, progressive, Biden/Elon worshipping Tesla owner who also appreciates massive doses of Tate and Jordan Peterson yet constantly brags about how “Sigma” he is.

I consistently got high 20's and occasionally danced with 30 on the highway, with the windows down and ac off, with my S1000RR strapped down in the back at 70mph. That’s fair enough for me.

Zune Owners:  "First time?"

Moichandising!

I’ve also spent over a decade in nuclear/NDT industry and let me tell you... stupid things like this happen all too frequently. We once had a gentleman lose a camera - with the same source - as he drove between sites because (a) he was carrying his fishing boat jutting out the rear door of the truck and (b) he just

We know what he paid because he literally stated what he paid.

See those 3 dots separating the two paragraphs?  There's a lot of reference missing there that's present in the source article.  "The engineer" that the second paragraph is referring to is John Johnson, not the younger engineer who assumed his duties.

I did contract work for IIHS once. I wouldn't trust anything they put on paper. Not even if it's just office letterhead.

The fact that someone beat me to this - and it has gathered responses - gives me a little hope for the automotive community. The iDX would have accomplished more for Nissan faster than the 400Z might.

This entire article feels odd to me. My 1987 Nissan Sentra did this. I figured every car did (everything I rented, several times monthly for many years, has) and I just figured everyone knew this.

Yeah... it's that reason alone that I avoid 4chan entirely.  All of the boards, and nearly every thread, is contaminated at this point.

You're not the only one.  I have zero excitement for this announcement because of exactly that.  It's unobtainium, and has the same impact as the insane cars they put in Gran Turismo.
