Can you imagine what conservatives, Duggar fans, foxnews watchers, etc would say if there was a show about a black family with 19+ kids & one of them was a child molester? Can you imagine how fucking insane they would be right now?

Can we no longer bring up fact out of fear of being judged as lacking empathy?

Um, no. I enjoy tasting things that taste good. Not because it's always been around, but because it tastes good in my mouth. Drinking isn't the evil, anymore than cakes or donuts or cheese or anything else is the evil.

Some of us need to drink to make being around people like you tolerable.

My guess is that they're season ticket holders or something, or at least he would assume the middle aged white couple are donors or frequent attendees and the young 20 somethings are just there as a treat.

This is at the crux of the problem. There is no real way to tell good traffic from bad traffic. You can only make excellent guesses.

The middle school I work at really demonstrates this. None of my kids have any drive to continue on after high school and the local high school doesn't require an entrance exam from my school so they don't study at all. They are content to live the working class lives of their parents, no dreams of college or work
