Right. It was obvious when they were not among those making statements, they were really just too close to him to bother with social media comments.

I really hate that we feel that celebrities owe us a public statement regarding the deaths of their friends. People need to mind their own business and let them grieve as they feel they need to.

Another genre role I’m fond of is his role on Babylon 5, where he played a crime boss that finds himself in possession of some pretty explosive information in the 2nd season.  I was tickled when I spotted him in that ep.

“Night Court” was on long enough that it went into syndication while it was still airing new episodes. At the time I always had the TV on in the background while making dinner and ended up catching the episodes, new and old, piecemeal so I have a somewhat skewed memory of it. To this day Christmas doesn’t feel right…

Bull was one of the all-time great sitcom characters. I hope Richard Moll enjoyed his time on the show, because he gave me a lot of joy. Rest in peace, and condolences to his family.
