Man, that Orange Julius sketch is so funny, and Stallone is so good in it.

That Orange Julius thing was absolutely hilarious. Also a fan of the skit where he got the new car but gave a neighbor a ride before giving his wife a ride.

Stallone can be funny, but it needs to be in a movie suited to his style. Tango and Cash and Demolition Man work as action-comedies, or at least action movies with some comic beats.

12 Monkeys is so, so much better than it had any right to be. It was amazing, AND stuck the landing. Just a super show.

That’s what I’ve been thinking.  I’m almost done with my 12 Monkeys rewatch(great show if you haven’t seen it btw) so it might be time to watch AoS again.

I loved this show from the jump, and I’m glad to see it getting some recognition recently. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch

You could even see it in “Private Parts”, which shockingly for a movie starring a guy the movie is about, was a terrific prism about all the facets of Howard.

Honestly, listening to modern era Howard really does confirm for me that the way he was portrayed (yes, by himself, I know, as both a writer and actor) in Private Parts was probably pretty damned accurate. He was playing a character, or at least a heightened version of himself, for ratings. Then he became the King of

i always found he had a sweetness and humanity behind the edgelord crap, it’s just that you needed to listen to hours of him to get there. he’s also, deep down, a colossal nerd.

Exactly. Start talking up how great it is to be awake and alert, and calling the anti-woke crowd “the slumbering mob” and such.

For a while I’ve been thinking “the left should retake ‘woke;’ it’s supposed to mean intelligent and aware.’” Stern’s comment illustrates just how cool and stable that tack sounds.

I have been a listener for 25 years and can say yes, he has matured a great deal, I mean they still do some immature stuff on the show at times but overall he’s wayyy tamer. He credits therapy for that and maybe wanting to interview actual big name celebrities instead of Frank Stallone ( Paul Simon was on yesterday,

What the hell are you doing?! You know not to talk about him. THERE ARE RULES!

Bill Maher is a dick. He was never a liberal. Seeing how he just barely got scared off from being a scab is more evidence of his unprogressive ways. A real progressive never would have even floated the idea of crossing a picket line. He just seems good at pissing everyone off.

I’m sure they still have value for money laundering.

Whenever an article critical of NFTs was posted back in the day people would come out of the woodwork defending how valuable and revolutionary they would be and how you just “didn’t get it”. Where are those people now?

Great time to buy low everybody!!!

I liked the original Zahn trilogy, and even the later Zahn duology, but I gave up on most of the EU after reading one too many clunkers. Hated Courtship and Darksaber especially, and never even got through the Corellian trilogy, as I remember just thinking “PLEASE, SOMETHING HAPPEN”.

Yep, there was some good stuff like the X-Wing books and the initial Zahn trilogy, but by and large the books were either horribly written or just boring as hell.

You know, Sabine was pretty rude for not accepting that piece of fruit (?) from one of those little Noti people. They just welcomed you to their village and helped you find your friend. You don’t have to eat it but at least show some common courtesy. Because of that, knocking the episode grade down from a B to a D.
