alright ill bite, in what way is NASCAR relevant to what you get in show rooms?

Also, it’s American and therefore inherently inferior to European racing.

In fairness, it IS shitty racing

It’s not a surprise that upper crust British aristocrats would look down on the more blue collar motorsports series where it’s actually possible for someone who isn’t extremely wealthy and privileged to make it to the highest levels.

Blue collar in fan base and thinking only, when was the last time someone not backed

unpredictable in the worst possible ways though, that’s the catch.

i do belive you’re drawing a false correlation to performance here.

F1 has a lower average speed because their cars actually use the brakes frequently. Since NASCAR is the round and round parade, they would of course logically maintain a higher top speed.

Your costume cars comment made me giggle too. I haven’t seen any racing series where the cars are not purpose built race cars.

IMSA and WEC? where the race cars are actually less powerful than their road going counterparts typically (for balancing reasons)

and while modified, they all start life on the assembly line

if you can get your hands on it, im partial to Shiner Bock if i want something domestic with some taste to it.
if you want light, go Mexican. Tecate, Modelo, Sol, all of these are better options that any American light

damn foolishness.

by the way how’s the race? you’re out there at the track aren’t you?

So is the coverage drop a common occurance? Cause that's ridiculous

Nice to see a racing body that actually knows how and when to dole out penalties.

Lucky! I wish there was a venue to bring these cars to houston

thats bonkers looking, it needs a rotary!

ok, go a bit easier on some of the vents, past that HOLY FUCK THATS GORGEOUS!

that looks nasty.... in the best possible way! well fucking done!

I’m going to guess that the BRZ would still be a tad cheaper than the 124, and still have more power. I very much like the styling on both cars, so I’ll call that wash.
bit of a toss on this one, the 124 already undercuts the Miata, which is a touch cheaper than the BRZ (last i saw).
and while the MRZ has more power,

no amrket for it *oozing sarcasm*

in fairness, the Pontiac was kind of a dog, so slow sales were a lifetime issue not just of the coupe.

Houston TX to Chattanooga TN in a 2010 Ford Focus that was very poorly maintained, overloaded to the brim with crap and a uhaul box trailer, on bad rear tires.

im shocked, bloody fucking SHOCKED it made it the whole way without an episode. of course limited to 55 mph because the one time i did try to go faster i swear

So I’ve had to do some thinking on this one, and I’ve come up with a comparison that MIGHT get the point across to idiot cyclists; Your interactions with 4 wheeled traffic are like a car interacting with a big rig. YOU LOOSE

right of way or not (and i see those violations all the goddamn time) the laws of physics are

Hey that’s neat!
