Not sure if i could call Libya our biggest failure, but its certainly the most obvious one post Iraq.
that said, Libya came undone not because of American intervention but from a lack thereof. let us remember that Libya imploded as a direct result of the Arab Spring, an internal movement to remove Qaddafi from power.

w

high speed, reasonably well armed, and capable of operating in waters too shallow for ships like destroyers. in essence

because technology has far surpassed what the battleships could handle.
further, there are only 4 of them that could be brought back to combat, and they would be slower than anything feilded by the navy currently. to bring them up to full modernization would be basically building a boat from scratch anyway.

the point

for a new battleship, see the Zumwalt.

destroyer in size, but its mission is almost exactly the same as the old girls.

Inda has been breaking away from the Russians when it comes to their military, so it wouldnt surprise me to see them keep the frigates

i wonder how many of them actually followed that, Dog who contributes here pointed out that his GT-R broke that accord so it wouldn’t shock me if the Supra did as well.
the RX-7 was always down on power between the three but also far lighter sooo, i dunno.

and with you on the power figures. i love this pursuit of speed

gonna go with 78-79 on this one, the height of all that went wrong with cars (at least here in the US). performanc was all but dead, with just a few cars hanging on to recover in the 80’s

design was still massive and bloated, and worse heavy. our cars, still playing catch-up to the import invasion, were crap and

aside from a company that had a solid history and could be brought back as a performance brand if Fiat wasn’t hellbent on making dodge just that, nothing.

ill give you 90’s as a peak for affordable performance. through the 2000’s you had the trend of fast cars for lots of money but we are slowly seeing a return to the old form among everyone but the Japanese.

and truthfully, performance has never been bred into so many cars like it is now.

05 bodystlye with the guts out of a shelby would be amazing.

the Stang took a wrong turn at the mid cycle refresh and hasnt recovered.

new corvette... ugly?

son, go sit in a corner and color, let the adults do the discussing.

wait, is that new new boxter?!

compared to the honda interior? worlds apart in terms of materials and class.

and who gives a fuck if the design is only a slight evolution of a classic shape? better than that mismash of hard angles and other cars that is the honda.

ok, so 156K at base is pretty out there, but loaded at 200k? what in the hell is honda thinking? you CANNOT charge Porsche money for something that isnt a Porsche guys. and looks like Honda is following their options plan with a price jump like that.

ok how many of us actually care about the hybrid drivetrain?
*counts a couple of hands raised but no more”

ok now that thats out of the way we can address the point that the NSX is too much money for too little car.
if you want the ultimate 0-60 street rocket you guy but a 911T. bugatti veryron fast for the same price

given that he was on the track when it bubbled, pretty sure i hear what i hear.

still calling it bubbles forever.

Not horribly disappointed, the NSX is not a pretty sounding car.

Seriously, the video from a few weeks ago had some good exhaust clips, and the car sounds like its blowing fucking bubbles out of the tailpipe.

Dont feel bad, i geeked out so hard i almost crashed the car i was driving when i first saw it

that Grill somehow manages to turn the most handsom of the full size trucks into the flat out ugliest
