as stated; the 86 was purposley held back by Toyota, the Miata is pretty far out on the allowable leash from Mazda. Miata could use some improvements and a much lower price tag (FFS the ND crosses the 30k mark!) but its purity where there Toyota is compromised.

but why? why is every other manufacturer able to go it alone while three of the largest car companies in the world cant get one off the ground under their own power?

because Muslims and Christians provide the best examples of religion taken too damned far currently.

the irony of that being the people you want to be friends with are the group who would roll over and take if war knocked on their doorstep.

as a moderate southerner, im more than happy to let these types of people slowly congeal into smaller and smaller masses, knowing that eventually they will be absorbed by the rest

see thats another thing i dont understand, this need with the Japanese to team up and try to build sports cars. they are perfectly capable of doing them on their own, but for some reason choose not to.

i think part of the issue is they are pulling the wrong lessons from their lackluster sales. until you hit the 6

the undertorqued purposley neutered sports car that Toyota is considering killing off cant count for those reasons listed.

i think its time we accept the reality folks, the days of old Japanese perfomance are dead (Mazda excluded). they have become so wrapped up in stuffing the latest tech into their cars that anything fast is going to carry a ridiculous price tag.
i wish it werent so, but its what i see.

uhhhhh, what about the Corvette?

they could have easily, but Nissan doesnt exactly do performance cars anymore that arent stuffed full of the latest (and unnecessary) tech.

lets face the music folks, the days of old school Japanese performance are dead, unless you are Mazda.

i wouldnt call those crossovers, more like off road sports cars (which is a market id LOVE to see tapped).

this said, the crossover craze needs to drop dead already. its ruining everything.

we had about 10 or so who wanted the class, but my school was almost strictly academic so the staff was meh from the get go. once they figured out everyone who wanted to sign up was the same bunch fo kids with the “fast cars” they kind of got a clue.

id like to have both, or more correctly a car with an auto pilot.

having driven cross country many times a month with work, i personally know how handy a function like that would have been. at the same time i want the ability to take control back from the computer when the desire hits me. driving for hours across the

meh, 200 miles isnt squat. but i was road weary for sure after 500 miles even switching off

Foza and Halo firmly cement me with Xbox even though i havent gotten a one yet.

also, World of Tanks. my computer isnt advanced enough to run it so ive got it on the console and im loving the cross generation server they’ve done.

ugh, auto shop has deteroirated so heavily in quality it isnt funny.

we tried to get one going at my old highschool but the staff wouldnt bite once they figured out we were trying to build a hot rod.

and this is why my dad does the “Porsche test.”

walk into store, tell clerk you want a radiator for a 80’s 911 (or a 60-70’s beetle works too). wait and see if clerk tells you that he gurantee’s he can get the part or tells you the part doesn’t exist. if the latter, congrats you found the rare one with a brain! if

the Horizon series is something more akin to Need for Speed, while the Motorsport games are more towards the Grand Turismo end of the spectrum

woah woah woah, it took until GT6 to add body roll?!

having played GT5 and Forza 4 (haven’t gotten my hands on 5 yet) i found Forza to be the superior game. not just in terms of content, but in the way the game felt and was put together.

though content was a huge bonus in Forza.

the number of old War Birds that took on this role as a second calling is staggering, and utterly AWESOME! im glad to see some of them avoided the scrap yards and lived to fight on just like their two legged counterparts did.
