It certainly did (I wasn’t a big fan myself), but coming five months after, in a very competitive holiday window, with a tumultuous development to where it didn’t have a real trailer until it nearly released, it just lacked the event anticipation a SW film feeds on, and a SW movie ideally should not just be something

I don’t think Solo had problems by virtue of opening after TLJ. I think Solo had a lot of issues to begin with.

What in the long history of James Cameron in general and "Avatar" in the specific made you believe that releasing one of those every other year was an attainable goal?

I realized there was a major problem at Disney when a third ‘making of” video in the same calendar year included the creators yet again going on-and-on about how they abused their health to meet an arbitrary deadline. Usually after chunking out a cheap sequel to a hit movie.

“Everything I don’t like was made by mean old woman KK! Everything good I like was made by nice men Favreau and Filoni! I understand film business!”

Good. Put all of Hollywood on hold until writers get what they deserve.

I like how they say “GGI Indy doesn’t look great” while posting a still photo that looks perfectly fine.

“CGI Indy doesn’t look great, we’ll admit.”

I’m going to try and keep an open mind about this film. On one hand, I generally think there is no way any legacy sequel can live up to expectations, especially when preceded by a classic like Raiders of the Lost Ark, and even more especially if you saw it as a child like I did in its original run when it was a highly

That Sympathy for the Devil trailer needs some music over it, but I just can’t think of what might fit.

Seriously Fury you need to call  ...

Sir, this is a Wendy’s. Meaning one can’t really talk about Transformers and “great movies” in the same breath.

Aside from Turning Red, Pixar’s really lost its fastball lately.

As long as the vehicles are screened from “ordinary” public view, and they’re not hurting anyone, they should leave him alone. This used to be a free country.

I am. In Florida v Riley in 1989 the Supreme Court said:

Well, GE images are only updated every 1-36 months so there is a wide range of time it may not be accurate.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I’m no lawyer, but I think it’s generally accepted that if something can be seen from a public area, such as the street, that no warrant is required. My bet would be that the Michigan Supreme Court decides that the sky above someone’s property is public, but who knows.
