You seem to be confusing “theme song” with “song that appears in the movie.” I’m pretty sure Harry Belafonte didn’t record “Day-O” in 1956 specifically for Beetlejuice.

A Marvel movie would have done the whole sequence in CG with a digital character. The fact that so much of this was done practically is why it just looks and feels thrilling and real.

I’m glad all of these are getting physical releases, but it would also be nice if they weren’t all steelbooks. Some of us aren’t made of money.

The best part of this trailer is Ernie Hudson. That man looks amazing for 78 years old.

A change I really like though is removing Padme naming her children and Bael and Obi-wan deciding which of the kids to take. By removing all of that, it preserves many of the twists of the original trilogy. And keeping the footage going through all of that shows that there was a better way to handle the end of that

“as they become a squad to save the galaxy, they also realize they need to become a found family.”

You left out the part where the only reason they found Ahsoka innocent was because she broke out of prison and gathered the evidence that exonerated her and proved who the real culprit was all by herself. Why would you come on here and deliberately misgender somebody like that? What a really cruel thing to do.

Good animators are actors who know how to embody the physicality of acting. They don’t necessarily need motion capture for that.

Han never said he hadn’t heard of the Jedi. He said he’d never seen anything in his life to make him believe in the Force.

This article is wonderful. Thank you.

Structurally, it felt kinda messy. But emotionally, it was really intense and satisying. Gunn showed that he knows how to land a trilogy through emotional character arcs and meaningful callbacks (sideeye at you, Rise of Skywalker).

Plus, the fact he could pass his tongue through the suit made the character much more enduring.

I loved it. In an era of predictable superhero films, I genuinely had no idea what to expect.

I thought it was a fun movie and would definitely watch more.

The game’s creator has been pretty clear that these aren’t zombies, they are infected. Nobody gets resurrected from the dead as a zombie.

And where are these new posters?

Thank God Mamoa will stepping in to play multiple roles in the franchise. There are so few actors in Hollywood that I don’t know what comic book movies would do if they couldn’t get the same few people to just throw on a mustache and a funny hat to play somebody else.

I miss the Razorcrest. That little fighter cockpit gives me claustrophobia.

This looks utterly delightful.
