I ran into the same thing when I owned my Hummer H1. Same thing. There were those that drove them and used them and others who kept them in the garage like they were brand new. It was nutty. In fact on some long distance road trips, some of the Hummer owners had the truck delivered so that they didn’t have to drive

I like you :) Drive it like you stole it.

That’s exactly what’s wrong with too many corvette owners (also viper owners). They treat the car like it’s a bar of gold in the garage. It’s a corvette, a chevy. I put 26k miles on my ‘14 stingray coupe since new. Every mile was a blast. When I worry too much about the miles I go back to the Chevy dealership and just

Speaking as both a corvette and viper owner, nothing ticks me off more than the people who buy a car like one of mine and just keep it in the garage. It’s never driven, and only comes out of the garage to go a few miles to a car show. Granted I don’t drive my viper as much but it’s because of my insurance policy and

I have always been a fan, although quiet one, of the panamera. I remember watching the top gear episode when they did sporty sedans, and although the rapide had the ritz factor, I still thought the panamera looked better, even though the trio really dissed it as ugly.

Welcome to the new American police state. Papers please.

Is it weird if i said I could listen to Jeremy Clarkson blabber on for 3 hours about soap, but feel like throwing myself under the nearest bus whenever I hear Chris Evans for more than 2 minutes?

Awesome! Thanks for the link!!

I went to one viper event and never went again. The corvette people on the other hand were a lot nicer and many actually drive thier cars not coat them with 400 coats of wax in the garage.

Some should definitely buy it, because I love my viper and I can tell you that there is nothing in this world that is more thrilling or exciting than a car that was designed specifically to kill me. Whoever picks it up will have fun and it’s pretty near the bottom of the depreciation curve as well.

Yes, it’s a fresh new year and still is running nice and tight. I’m still happy. The only weird issue that pops up and I can’t figure out how to reproduce is using a bluetooth android based phone to stream music in the car. Every once in a while the radio “locks up” and the controls stop working. Iphones work great

Back a few years ago when I had a Hummer similar to yours Doug, I sold my truck to a gentleman in CT. In my 5 years of ownership I took meticulous care of it. Things that could have problems I took care of before they did. The humvee based Hummers aren’t exactly cheap to keep running. I replaced the tires shortly

It’s easy, you just need to use the Ferris Bueller approach, put the car on a jack and run it in reverse until the miles come off. One can take the NSX from 90K miles to 24 and somewhere between 3 and 4/10 of a mile.

I’d drive it....like a mad woman...with no underwear... :)

You nailed it, and not only that, but how many of those cool add on’s that they demonstrate at Jeep events ever make it into the mopar catalog?

Sounds like it’s time to pick up a good old fashioned 2 door soft top and hang on to it forever. Part of a Jeep’s charms are it’s quirks. If you don’t want quirks, then go buy one of the zillion or so crossover vehicles instead. It sounds like they are taking away from Jeeps legacy, other than keeping the look, and

I thought that the Ford application process said that none of the GTs that get sold can be collector items but must be taken to car shows and events like that. In other words visible only in the garages of the lucky lottery winners. Rob is the perfect candidate. He’s made several videos of his GT and used it in some

Rob from super speeders really wants one. Maybe he’ll be successful in making the cut.

You nailed it.

Well that’s just plain stupid. Why didn’t they just buy a fiberglass Ferrari kit car and do that instead of wasting a potentially valuable car? I mean they were going to restore the Ferrari anyways, why not give it some value? This is almost as childish and stupid as something I would see Clarkson, Hammond and May
