I did. I ordered a 458 Italia from them years ago, to see what would happen. I’m still waiting.

Damn shame... Here’s hoping he and some of the others can leverage their talent and passion into something else. It would be awful to see them go away completely.

It must have been really windy back then.

I loved the ‘30s... they streamlined everything.

Can I go to pebble beach alone and still have a great time that is worth the experience, an experience that I can only reminisce about with myself in the future?

I can just predict that the naysaying parrots will come out in force, and the only thing that’ll get their ductless glands secreting, is the so-called 430 powerplant.

That’s pretty much what this article is.

You’ll find that with people that own Accords, too. I’ve known plenty of people who say stuff like “wow, that’s going to put a lot of miles on your car going to X”. Yes, it will. But that’s why I HAVE a car. So I can get to places I want to go. I even knew one guy that would get a rental to drive from his own house to

Exactly. It’s not like the Corvette is a rare car. Well, a few of the special editions are but that’s still not an excuse to not drive them.

I had a freind in the local Corvette club, when I listened in on the conversations most were about 1) how the newer cars rode and drove so much easier than the older cars; 2) low miles; 3) rarity of color combinations and options; 4) gas mileage (really); and a distant fifth handling and performance.

I don’t understand all these fools that buy great performance cars and then garage them as a piece of art. It seems counterintuitive to me. I want to feel the raw power and not just stop to look at it every once in a while while wiping it down with a chamois.

*international nightmare

Only appropriate that on 4th of July the American once again conquers the Brit.

I imagine you’ve used the “hey buddy, can you give me a hand with my car?” line one too many times.

That would require actually having friends.

This was recorded on the bridge just after he passed.
