My Viper is mad at you right now :) In all seriousness, I regularly drive 400+ hp cars and I don’t have a problem with them. Really. I can spend 4 hours driving back roads in my convertible vette and barely break the speed limit and be happy as a clam when I get home. I’m just happy that I have the extra power that

I could be driving an exotic, instead I have 2 vettes and a viper to drive. I don’t care what anyone thinks or doesn’t think. On some sunny weekends I have spent an entire day driving all 3 cars in one day and it’s epically good fun. The only thing I don’t like are the ‘racer’ boys with their slammed Infinitis or

Not necessarily. I live in New England and I see plenty of them on the road. The low to ground, sleek looking sedans are all over the place now, BMW, Audi, hell even a dodge charger. A couple of years ago they were a cars and coffee item, now they’re just meh.

Tesla needs to freshen up the model lineup, because for nearly $80k the model S is starting to look dated and last gen when spotted near a late model Audi or BMW, which would be it’s intended rival. You can tell that Tesla is running by techies and not car people.

The Elio car is beginning to sound more and more like vaporware every day.

I live in MA which has state inspections and I can tell you my state inspection nightmare. A few years ago I brought a Hummer H3T that I owned to a local Nissan dealership because they were close by, nice and clean and could do state inspections instead of going to Bubba’s inspection station. I expected the truck to

Something is only collectible if there are people who want a ‘collectible’ version of something. There are a lot of nice older, rare, or even cars that aren’t going to worth a lot years from now.

There’s no amount of money you could pay me to live in NJ either. I can’t blame him.

So I have to choose between the Orangutan, Captain Slow and the Duke of Hammond? I guess I go with Richard ‘the secret american’ Hammond. He who appreciates American muscle, totally gets it in my book. Plus he’s cute and that works for me :)

Don’t forget they also have the Corvette build experience too. I know a few people who did it and they loved it.

How much are you willing to spend on a car? What’s the limit because we are talking about the cream of the crop here. If you had a budget of say 150k you can get quite a lot. I’ve seen Ferrari California’s a few years old selling in the 150 range. There are a lot of good low mileage Gallardo’s that can be had in that

It looks like the middle part of a Dodge Magnum with Porsche front and rear bumpers. I just don’t see the appeal of this thing. There must be a market, but to me it seems like it takes a special kind of love to want to proudly display that car in the driveway.

It’s about time Lincoln got a hit. They’ve wandering in the desert for too long. This is a sexy car, and what an interior for $45K.

The model S needs something because to be honest it’s starting to look dated when seen on the road amidst a sea of Audi and BMW cars with similar profiles.

Doug I know you had an H1, but to me, listening to the creaking, noisy interior of the defender brought me back to the days off going offroad in the Hummer I used to have. The Hummer also had a radio, but after a few days of owning I thought, what’s the point of this radio?

Is it just me or does anyone else find this new car from Tesla, boring and maybe a smidgen on the ugly side? I mean it looks like someone took a Chrysler 200, stripped all the fun out of it, put in a cheap interior and then put it up for sale at the same price.

I must admit it’s a really cool looking car but any x 1/9 I have ever seen is rotting away in a barn or field or broken down on the side of the road. It takes a special kind of love for a car like that.

Awesome!! I never went farther than top down and doors off. There are mirror relocation brackets that work with the screws in the windshield brackets. I’m glad that it’s still possible to do this with a Jeep. It’s still what makes it unique.

In my life I have only ever seen 1 spyker vehicle with my own eyes, and that was rolling down the highway in CT, so I guess some lucky duck in CT has one. But talk about presence. I mean 20 Lambos could drive by, and I would miss it just staring at the spyker, and the noise from the exhaust is really unique as well.

I wish they would give us a little teaser, a hint, anything to what they are up to. The suspense is killing me. Even the walking dead drops little hints, clips, etc.
