I keep hearing Stephen Lynch singing his "Special Olympics" song in my head . . .

@JalopJeff: +1 for Magnum 500s. Although I don't think they look quite right on GMs, but they look awesome on Mopars and Fords.

@SagarikaLumos: Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner. If the fuel taxes were used only to repair and build new roads, the highway system would be in a lot better shape than it is currently. I doubt we'd even be having this discussion about raising gasoline taxes.

@TrampaOnline: It's gotta have hideaway headlights . . .

@mytdawg: You'll also learn about the reliability of JAAAAAAAGGGGSSSS.

Back in the mid '80s I remember seeing a replica car just like this (minus the light bar) sitting on a dealer's lot at Myrtle Beach. I do believe said car was given away as grand prize for a contest the dealership was running.

Jaguar XJ13

@Optima: 1000 times this. With the Hemi.

@AMC_CJ: Mopar or no car.

@Maxximtl: Don't you mean you'd be pedaling that car instead of driving it . . .

@Jagvar: The AOTD (should it ever come back) for this question would be full of early 70s Mopars!

@fhrblig: You must have the 4 banger. I could probably get 25 or 26 mpg on the highway with the V6 in mine.

Here's a thought. Make everyone take their driver's test in a car with a manual transmission. If you can't drive it well enough to pass the test, you can't get a driver's license.

Very reminiscent of these on the 1970.

If I could make the perfect 2nd generation Charger, it would have the 1968 front, the 1970 rear, and the 1970 interor.

I tried messing with the settings yesterday to expand all replies and view the oldest comments first, but it didn't change anything. I assume those bugs haven't been worked out yet.

I guess I'd take one of these . . .
