@rocor: Chip Foose approves.
@OA 5599: I still think it only looks good on E-bodies with white interior. I prefer V2 Hemi Orange.
@Maymar: Dodge needs to bring back J5 Sublime/Lime Light for their next retro color.
@Shnyzx: That would be Hemi Orange/Tor-Red.
@kurtbroz: I like a lot of the Mopar High Impact colors, but the Plum Crazy/In-Violet FC7 looks good on nothing but E-bodies to me. Too bad they didn't name it Statutory Grape.
@vicariousrider: I swear that 50% of all Mopars in the early '70s were F8 dark green.
@SynthOno: I had a '72 Ford P/U with the 302 and 3-speed automatic as my first vehicle. Short bed too. The only problem was those drum brakes. Other than that, it would run way past the time when the body rusted away.
@Awjvail: I never said it was "kosher," but it did come that way from the factory. I guess you could have ticked the box to remove the door scoops.
@Chrisnyc1213: That's a styling cue from the 1970 R/T's. They also had fake ducts on the doors.
@snapoversteer twts teh body elctrc: Lots of folks forget that you could get a 426 Hemi in the '66-'67 Chargers. But I've got a 2nd Gen, so you see where my loyalties are.
@PipeSmokingVolvoDriver: A '70 Charger and an A-body Cuda. This guy has good taste. Er, wait a minute. That might be a Valiant. It doesn't matter.

@grubbalicious: I think you misunderstood what I was saying. My point was that Detroit could get more horses out of a given displacement (as much as the Europeans) if they didn't have to meet such strict emissions standards. In Europe, lower emissions standards == more horsepower.
@dosdelon: If I recall correctly, GM paid Seger One Million Dollars so they could use his song in their commercials. I think they got their money's worth . . .
@grubbalicious: "the large displacement of our engine vs. the relatively low hp-ci ratio, coupled with the cheaper materials used on the interior, seem to be a constant point of mockery. "
@TrampaOnline: I'm glad someone said this. The current "Charger" is not even close to the '68-'70 Charger. It is completely overshadowed. The '66-'67 does not quite get the love that the 2nd Gen gets. But I would still take a first Gen over the current one — you could get a 426 Hemi in the original.
@SpikeJnz - Shomer Shabbos: Two Viper RT/10s were mounting your motorcycle?
@eforeal: Oooooh that smell
