I'm moving to Polygon, no clue where I'm going to get the Japanese culture fix outside of Kotaku though.

I was talking about FF in general, basically if you want to play an FF first play, III (DS), IV, V, or VI. Also, JRPG's on the SNES? Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, the Lufia games, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest V and VI, etc. SNES-era would also include Phatasy Star II-IV, Shining Force I and II and the like as well. Games…
Spoken like a true "best commenter"...
I think it says so in the spell description. I can barely read it though on an SDTV.
I think he means the nightly Open Threads, the ones that REALLY don't work with the new system.
The algorithm is mocking me, it's the only explanation.
Yeah, I hear you, RPG's take way too much time...
Humble much?
Yeah, I kept forgetting to use it...
Too bad that significant portion was our best commenters and not the random trolls that just show up for controversy. The editors are barely getting involved either, they respond to the first reply on a post and that's about it. It's seems like they're only doing it do to a mandate...
Have you played IX? I thought it had a great job system. Also, no it's not about the story at all, I find most JRPG's to have horribly mediocre stories, even the ones I live. They have fun gameplay to go along with the promise of adventure. There's also a good deal of depth buried underneath that simplistic gameplay,…
It did? Whoa, it's almost like they're trying to make me look the fool!
True, I have met people that aren't as into 2D games as I have. My reaction is to burn the heathens.
So many people have left that I don't think it'll matter if they do offer an alternative.
I like some ARPG systems in WRPG's, but most of the ones I've seen in JRPG's are too button mashy. Dragon Quest and Pokemon are very refined turn based systems and show that they aren't an archaic idea and can still be fun.
Now I know how those Soul Trapped beings felt.
But you gave me this so I figured it was used!
I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or disagreeing with me, or only replying to me due to the bogus comment system. Also, seriously, please don't use the "it's the most popular so it's great excuse", as I've told others, crap like Two and a Half Men, the Transformers movies, and Twilight are popular. Doesn't make…
Yu-Gi-Oh! elevated my nerdiness, we all start somewhere.
The guy in charge of Gawker doesn't want a system that promotes social interaction.
