Cadillac launched American luxury. Do you still consider them so? The GTI is a fantastic well rounded little hatch, but others have gone and made “hot” hatches. The bar has moved. The R is the new not hatch, the GTI is just normal now.

Key word is should. I know in many cases, they are barely adequate. Trax and Encore control arms, for example. Big recall they were failing.
The Tesla weighs as much as an aircraft carrier. The Honda weighs as much as a deck of cards in comparison. Lots more heft behind an impact. Any impact.
The Tesla Model X weights what....just over a billion tons? Is it using control arms off a 3500 HD truck? Super heavy vehicles put massive stress on their suspensions. Not surprised a control arm went if it is, say, a car rated one rather than one for a heavy truck.
Actually, when concerning n/a engines, they are most efficient at WOT, which is more efficiently managed with a manual.
Yes, I am saying that. From my experience as a person who sells those vehicles to those families and old people.
The comments are full of Jalops who should surrender both their Jalop card and their man card.
GTI is more mature than the Veloster N. I can see it having an auto option...plus it is more “warm” hatch, not really hot.
You believe wikipedia? Thats cute.
wow I drive two cars that have a small halogen as a DRL.
This car should come with a manual only. If you buy an automatic, you are Veloster N-ing wrong.
Head of car company that has basically no vehicles that are suited for manuals says customers never ask about manuals. Fits.
Happily. I drive in traffic all the time in my manual. Happy to do it.
OK, just drive your car then.
The company was in peril when he bought the company, it was the reason they were for sale in the first place and they were desperate for funding. Under Russian stewardship, I wager they made some if their best vehicles - especially the Sagaris. Their best design yet, and it actually handled great.
Unless it is a Miata, nobody really gives them a chance. Have to make 25 different CUVs to fund their sports cars. TVR used to be fairly affordable, Corvette money for Corvette performance in a much more bespoke feeling vehicle. This...is not TVR sadly.
Huh? Tuscan II looks much, much better. Same with the Sagaris. Bonkers but beautiful at the same time.
I dont think so. Not with looks like that, and the V8 sounds terrible.
Instead of yet another useless gimmicky technology, why don’t they experiment with making a vehicle that wont break down as soon as the warranty is up?
Panamera is not a sport sedan. It deserves an automatic. Almost every single CAR for Porsche can be bought with a manual. Sport sedans should at least have the OPTION for a manual transmission, there are enough of us out there that want one...as long as it is offered in the right spec.
