I would love an education then please. Where are the falsehoods? Was Jag not in Le Mans in GroupC? Is Jag not a great fit for WEC?

I sure hope so they priced it competitively, as in a bargain vs competition. They are not at he stage...YET...where prospective buyers would consider it for any other reason.
Big shocker. If Jag wants to race, I suggest an XF in WEC or DTM. If they had more dollars I would say return to Le Mans, relive the magic of their GroupC days...but touring car racing is cheaper. Would love to see their brutal V8s tear it up alongside Bentleys, Ferraris, Porsches.
Jack stand technology is how old? How the hell do you get it wrong in 2020, no matter how cheap you go on the material? Pathetic.
Nothing. It will be incrementally better than the last one. Fantastic to drive, very well built. Moving on, nothing else to know.
Volvo or Saab. End.
As an Alfa driver, I agree. Alfa needs to stay out of F1, and concentrate on WEC, DTM, WTCC/BTCC, where their race wins of recent history lie. Ferrari is F1. Always.
Whatever the top tier Le Mans class is then. I can never keep up to date. Group C still around? :P I say he would tear it up in WEC quite well if he wanted, Fezzas are very competitive right now.
I would say LMP1 Le Mans or WEC. Have him race an actual Ferrari on track. Indy is kinda...meh for me.
Look at a 2016 or so ZL1. That is the look.
No it is not gorgeous at all. The previous gen was so much better. And why did they not give it the ZL1 fascia for even a little better looks. Previous gen shits all over this Camaro.
If it looks like that, no way in hell. One of the worst faces on a car in production today.
No, it is because this website has crap coding. This is widely known, you must be new here.
Power doesnt make soul in an engine. The way it is delivered, the sound the engine makes, the feeling you get as it revs...all contribute to soul. The Alfa engine is higher revving, with a power curve that is less flat and encourages you to rev the car out. Yes, the Alfa engine is 300hp, not 400hp, but the way it is…
The IS300 did come in manual, although they are very rare. I have one. With the stick you can get the best of that 2JZ NA engine, which is the biggest offered in the Altezza platform. It is no powerhouse, but it is smooth and sounds great. Power to well above Aero levels is just a turbo away.
I agree, but America is a big market. And I would argue it didnt do much for improving Hondas sporting image, it is more of a computerized missile than a sports car. It was supposed to be the successor to the original, and it is entirely the opposite car.
If they wanted a sporty 4 cyl turbo, should have gone to Alfa Romeo. Those are the for sporty driving. But yes, BMW does make a good power unit, just no soul to it.
I hunted for my manual IS300 for some time. I wanted a reliable manual sport sedan. Narrow field...
I tend to agree, loved my Saab. But still a V70 is a much better choice then most of the crap suggested here...a Westy, really!?
I second this, as a former Saab driver and a current Alfa and IS300 manual driver. Those things drive really well and actually have character!
