For Florence, go to Ciro and Sons for dinner one night. The Florentine Steak is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever eaten. Ate there three times when I was living in Italy and went down to Firenze with visiting folks and was never disappointed. It can get a little pricey but it’s so worth it.

It’s been a few years since I lived over there but there was/is a FANTASTIC gelato place in the same plaza as the two towers in Bologna. I actually think it’s named Le Due Torre... You should definitely try it!
