I feel uniquely qualified to comment. I’ve hit two deer in my life. One, in my car, very close to a Watch for Wildlife on Road sign. Middle of the night. Good article, but I disagree with the first suggestion. When excessive noise is brought up in a meeting, no one thinks they’re the culprit. I’ve had better luck addressing the problem at the moment it happens, politely.

I first saw Mahmoud (then Chris Jackson) as a freshman at LSU. He LIT IT UP, raining perfect swishes from everywhere. He led the nation in scoring. I believe he left school early, or else he would have played with one Shaquille O’Neal. That would have been an inside-outside combo for the ages.

I’m an integrated circuit designer. I like the problem solving & working with smart, logical people. I think there’s no satisfaction like a job well done, by you, whether you’re an engineer, a carpenter, or anything else.
