Because Americans think it’s only valuable to keep you above ground if you are gainfully employed.

And here’s my broke ass with a string of led Christmas lights, command strips, and a scentsy fired up and balanced on the toilet lid.

Also, no one is actually proposing keeping Medicare in its current state when it is rolled out. It is a shorthand for nationalized healthcare.

Showering in a semi-flooded cave lit like an ‘80s skating rink, while trading awkwardly stiff smiles with the other people in your shower. Yeah, that doesn’t look relaxing in the least. On the plus side, I believe I now have the perfect example of an asexual’s experience of watching pr0n, “Why is this happening? Is

Me when he’s talking these days:

He was elected twice because his inspirational message inspired massive Democratic turnout, not because he appealed to fucking moderates. This coming election can only be won in the same way, and yet he wants to start coddling these wishy-washy fucks? If you are so flaky as a Democrat that a few more taxes will throw

The average person doesn’t have enough money in their bank account to be moderate.

As soon as the Obama’s signed that Netflix deal I started worrying about the way they would view politics down the line. They’ve lived a cushy life for way too long (even before he became president because Michelle was earning like half a million dollars a year at the University of Chicago).

ALL THIS!!

Barack Obama was never a progressive. He was the perfect crutch for white Americans who wanted to feel good about themselves without actually changing anything.

When he’s not telling young black men to pull up their pants or chastising people for being too “woke” for holding people accountable for their racist and sexist actions, he’s swatting down real progressives for wanting single payer health care and none of his citi group friends in the next Democrats cabinet.

Speaking of affordable insulin; I live in Canada where it is very affordable. Part of the reason for this is because we call type 1 diabetes “insulin dependent.”

Robert Kennedy - Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not.

You do realize that cozying up to those people means continuing to screw over everyone else, right? Remember that these people are literally crying on live TV over the fact that Elizabeth Warren wants to redirect a tiny fraction of their wealth to the greater good where that money will actually have an impact as

I have to say I am so disappointed in Obama lately. As much as I still like him, his political nature has really shown itself since he left the office, and it’s not a good look for him. Along with Bill Gates making his stupid comments lately, I’m getting a bit disillusioned with the fact that I used to think there

No headphone jack on a $1,500 phone is an easy no-buy for me.

Mine doesn’t have one, but I absolutely hate that it doesn’t.  Far more than I expected to.  It’s not a deal breaker on a phone (obviously), but that doesn’t mean that I like the (lack of a) feature.

Then you can’t charge. Long flight and you want to listen to music while your phone charges up? Nope. Can’t do. Conference video call that you need to take on headphones in an open office? Nope. Can’t do. There is literally no cognizable reason that you should not be able to both charge your phone and use headphones,

Really? You know that many people who are willing to spend $1000 on a phone, if only they didn’t have to use an adapter.  And these people who have $1000 for a new phone don’t have bluetooth headphones?

But I have to spend more for an adapter if it gets lost, stolen, or broken. Or an update borks functionality. And it adds another break point in the process from getting sound from my phone to my head, or to another audio output. Bluetooth is not instant, and can lag or cut out on music cues for presentations. As
